Who We Are
The Corporate Growth & Investment Club (CGIC) is University of Virginia’s premier undergraduate organization devoted exclusively to the full lifecycle of venture capital, private equity and corporate investments. We help students develop the knowledge, skills, network and experience to position themselves for a career within private investments, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions or management consulting as well as potential entrepreneurial endeavors.
Our organization incorporates elements of valuation, transaction structuring, organic growth, acquisition growth, operational enhancements and scale, and final exit/realization. Our goal is to provide members with a well-rounded foundation as well as a more curated experience based on their unique career interests.
